Registered Nurse - Cath Lab

Our client is seeking a competent and patient-focused Registered Nurse with Cath Lab experience to join a specialised clinical environment. The successful candidate will provide high-quality nursing care while supporting safe and efficient procedural services.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac procedures.
- Prepare patients for procedures and provide appropriate post-procedure care.
- Assist the multidisciplinary team during Cath Lab procedures.
- Monitor patients closely and identify changes in clinical condition.
- Administer medication and treatments according to prescribed protocols.
- Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation.
- Adhere to infection prevention, patient safety and clinical governance standards.
- Ensure equipment and clinical areas are prepared and maintained appropriately.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse qualification with current SANC registration.
- Previous Cath Lab experience is essential.
- Sound knowledge of cardiac and procedural nursing practices.
- Strong clinical assessment and patient monitoring skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm and effective in a specialised, fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care.
