Customer Service Agent / Internal Sales (m/f/d) for WORX, Kress, CAT and WESCO

This role is essential for delivering outstanding customer experiences by providing sales support, managing customer enquiries, and ensuring the efficient processing of orders across our WORX, KRESS, CAT, and WESCO brands. You will play a key role in building long-term customer relationships while supporting sales growth and operational excellence. Your mission

• Be the first point of contact: Professionally handle customer enquiries via phone, email, and other communication channels.
• Drive customer satisfaction: Provide accurate product information, pricing, stock availability, and lead times.
• Take ownership: Capture, process, and monitor customer orders to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
• Show your organizational skills: Maintain accurate customer records, quotations, and sales documentation within company systems.
• Achieve more together: Work closely with external sales representatives, warehouse teams, and logistics partners to support customer needs.
• Be solution-oriented: Resolve customer complaints, delivery issues, and product-related queries efficiently and professionally.
• Support sales growth: Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities while promoting the full Positec product portfolio.
• Keep an overview: Monitor order status, backorders, and customer requests to ensure clear communication and follow-through.
• Hands-on attitude: Assist with the preparation of quotations, tenders, promotions, and customer-specific pricing arrangements.
• Take initiative: Continuously develop product knowledge and stay informed about new product launches, promotions, and market trends.

Your profile

• Your education: Grade 12 qualification; a sales, business administration, or customer service qualification will be advantageous.
• Your experience: Proven experience in customer service, internal sales, order processing, or a similar customer-facing role.
• Your mindset: You are customer-focused, solution-driven, and committed to delivering service excellence.
• Your technical skills: Good computer literacy with experience in ERP systems, CRM platforms, and Microsoft Office applications.
• Ideally: You have experience within the hardware, power tool, industrial, or retail supply industry.
• Language skills: Excellent English skills, both written and spoken; additional South African languages will be advantageous.
