Minimum Requirements
- BCom Accounting or CA(SA) qualification.
- Minimum 3–5 years' relevant financial reporting experience.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting standards.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Experience within the manufacturing, mining or heavy industrial sector will be highly advantageous.
- A stable employment history with the desire to establish a long-term career.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports in accordance with IFRS.
- Compile and review monthly management accounts and reporting packs.
- Assist with the preparation of annual financial statements.
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations and ensure the integrity of the general ledger.
- Support the month-end and year-end close process.
- Analyze financial results and provide meaningful commentary on variances.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes.
- Liaise with internal and external auditors during audit engagements.
- Ensure compliance with statutory, tax and financial reporting requirements.
- Drive continuous improvements in reporting processes and financial controls.
- Provide financial insights to support operational and strategic decision-making.
- Work closely with senior finance leadership while developing into a future Financial Manager position.
