Clinical Data Specialist

IQVIA seeks a Clinical Data Specialist to lead database validation and testing activities for clinical trials. The role involves managing validation tasks, auditing databases, testing specifications, and ensuring high-quality database delivery across assigned studies.
Responsibilities
- Lead database audit activities and oversee validation efforts across assigned studies
- Test clinical trial databases and create, document, and maintain test cases within the Data Management Plan
- Reconcile Edit Check status prefixes and update statuses within the CTDB as applicable
- Identify erroneous Edit Checks and communicate corrections to database programmers
- Mentor new team members and serve as Subject Matter Expert for database validation activities
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in clinical, biological, mathematical sciences, or related field
- Medical terminology exposure and knowledge
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
- Advanced knowledge of database structures, validation methodologies, and testing processes
- Excellent attention to detail and independent problem-solving ability
- Proficiency with computer systems and data management tools
