You'll zip parcels, spares or documents around Epping for an e-commerce delivery hub, all day, all over town. This role rewards consistency more than flash.
The work is in Epping, Western Cape, so you'll need a reliable way to get there every day. Start is planned for the beginning of next month.
What you'll actually do
- Keep your vehicle or bike clean and report faults
- Fill up the vehicle and keep fuel slips for the logbook
- Collect spares and parts from suppliers and bring them to the workshop
- Load parcels in route order from the depot scanning area
- Return undelivered parcels to the depot with a reason code
- Scan parcels on delivery and take a photo or signature
You'll need
- Valid Code 8 (B) licence, or A licence for motorbike roles
- Good sense of direction and map reading
- At least 1 year of driving experience
- Clean driving record and no criminal record
- Smartphone and comfortable using delivery apps
Nice if you have
- Your own reliable bakkie or bike for owner-driver contracts
- PrDP for staff shuttle posts
