PROFESSIONAL ACCOUNTANT - CAPE TOWNAn established professional accounting firm in Cape Town is seeking a qualified Professional Accountant to join their growing team.This role is ideal for a recently qualified "SAIPA or SAICA professional" who enjoys client interaction, financial reporting, and mentoring junior staff.Minimum Requirements:Completed SAIPA or SAICA ArticlesRelevant Accounting qualificationStrong VAT knowledgeExperience preparing Annual Financial Statements using IFRS for SMEsCompany and Individual Tax knowledgeXero experience ESSENTIALCaseWare experience ESSENTIALPastel Partner and Sage One experience advantageousExperience supervising junior staffExcellent communication and client relationship skillsOwn reliable transport and valid driver's licenceMust currently reside in the Western CapeKey Responsibilities:Manage a portfolio of clientsPrepare and review Annual Financial StatementsReview management accounts, budgets and cash flow forecastsSupervise and mentor junior staff and traineesEnsure statutory compliance and submissionsAssist clients with accounting and software supportMaintain strong client relationships and provide exceptional servicePersonal Attributes:High integrity and professionalismStrong attention to detailSelf-motivated and positive attitudeAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlinesPlease email your detailed CV Ref:PA/CPT/JM
