Area: Broadacres Ages: Son aged 15 years old, daughter aged 12 years old and 5 year old daughter (has her own nanny) Working hours: Monday - Friday: 13:00 - 18:00 School holiday hours: Monday - Friday: 13:00 - 18:00. Flexibility would be appreciated, but not a deal breaker Duties: Collect from school, take to extra-murals, assist with and supervise homework, run general family errands, grocery shopping on your behalf, engaging in intellectually stimulating play & activities with child, prepare lunch and snacks for your children, packing snacks/lunch when the children have late extra murals, ensuring bags are packed for the following day, prepare snacks for the following day, occasional Babysitting and weekend work (by prior arrangement). Light tidying of the children's play spaces/rooms, plan outing and activities for holiday periods. Schedule updating on the digital calendar. Requirements: Experience with the age groups, speaks, reads and writes English well, non-smoker, Trustworthy, discreet and respectful of family privacy, Warm, nurturing and patient, with a calm presence under pressure, Mature, responsible and highly organised, Proactive someone who anticipates what the children need, A confident, safe driver in Johannesburg traffic, Able to communicate naturally and appropriately across a wide age range from a 5-year-old to a 15-year-old, A clear, confident communicator with parents, tutors and teachers, Comfortable with technology (school apps, scheduling, messaging) Start date: 01 October 2026 - permanent contract Salary: R10500 per month (gross, before deductions) + SARS rates per km (R4.95) for any driving done directly for the family. Not to get to and from work. All Au Pair Extraordinaire applicants must fill the following requirements: Must have at least 12 consecutive months of formal child caring experience, excluding work done for friends and family. This experience must be within the last 2 years. Must have their own, reliable car and at least 18 months driving experience. Must have at least 2 contactable childcare references.
