Senior Accountant

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join their Port Elizabeth team,
- Manage the general ledger and ensure accurate accounting records
- Process and oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
- Reconcile financial records and resolve discrepancies timeously
- Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and company policies
- Assist with internal and external audits, as well as statutory and regulatory reporting requirements
Requirements
- Grade 12
- Bachelor's Degree in Financial Accounting
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in an Accountant role
- Recent experience in stock and fixed asset accounting is essential
- Proficiency in accounting software, including Sage Evolution and Sage Intacct
- Sound understanding of accounting principles, tax regulations, and compliance requirements within the South African environment
