Marketing Manager - VKB Group Marketing and Communication, Modimolle

We are looking for an experienced and commercially minded Marketing Manager to lead marketing activities across the NTK region, covering Limpopo and parts of Mpumalanga north of the N4. This is not a traditional marketing role. It is an opportunity for a strategic leader to influence business growth, strengthen customer engagement, elevate regional brands and partner closely with operational and commercial teams within a dynamic agricultural environment. The successful candidate will translate business objectives into impactful marketing strategies that deliver measurable results. What You Will Be Responsible For As Marketing Manager, you will: Develop and execute regional marketing strategies aligned to the VKB Group's commercial objectives. Build strong partnerships with business units, branches, suppliers, customers and key stakeholders across the region. Drive brand visibility and customer engagement initiatives that strengthen the market position of NTK and the broader VKB Group. Lead and mentor a regional marketing team, creating a high-performance culture focused on service excellence. Manage regional marketing budgets and ensure optimal return on marketing investment. Identify opportunities for retail growth, customer acquisition and market expansion. Oversee regional events, activations, sponsorships and community engagement initiatives. Collaborate with Group Marketing and Communications to deliver impactful digital, social media and communication campaigns. Leverage CRM insights and customer data to improve customer experience and support business growth. Measure, analyse and report on marketing performance and business impact. Who We Are Looking For You are a strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen who understands how marketing contributes to business growth. You enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, building relationships and translating business needs into practical marketing solutions. You have: Essential NQF Level 7 qualification in Marketing, Communications, Brand Management, Business Development or a related field. At least 5 years' experience in a corporate marketing leadership role. At least 5 years' experience within agriculture, agribusiness, agricultural retail, input supply, FMCG or a related environment. Proven experience managing people, projects and budgets. Experience developing and implementing marketing strategies that support revenue growth and customer engagement. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. Experience using marketing data and customer insights to inform decision-making. Highly Advantageous Experience in agricultural retail marketing. Experience growing brands within regional or rural markets. Experience with customer experience programmes and CRM platforms.
