Key Responsibilities:
- Process and maintain accurate financial records up to trial balance.
- Manage creditors and debtors functions, including reconciliations and payments.
- Perform bank reconciliations and cashbook processing.
- Capture and reconcile general ledger transactions.
- Assist with month-end and year-end financial processes.
- Prepare and submit VAT reconciliations and supporting schedules.
- Maintain fixed asset registers and supporting documentation.
- Process journals and ensure accurate allocation of expenses.
- Assist with audit preparations and provide supporting documentation.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years' bookkeeping experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience working on accounting systems such as Xero, POS advantageous.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Advantageous:
- Experience within the retail, hospitality, wellness, or service industry.
- Exposure to multi-branch or multi-entity environments.
