Responsibilities

• Estimating Costs : Collaborate with senior Quantity Surveyors to prepare accurate cost estimates for construction projects.
• Materials Estimation : Analyze architectural plans and determine the quantity and costs of materials required.
• Contract Management : Assist in negotiating and analyzing contracts related to construction work.
• Project Cost Tracking : Monitor changes in plans or construction progress, updating budgets accordingly.
• Document Preparation : Prepare contracts, documents, and progress reports.
• Compliance and Safety : Ensure that construction work adheres to legal requirements and safety regulations.
• Budget Management : Set budgets for payments, inventory needs, and materials.
• Liaison : Act as a liaison between clients and site managers/engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of construction costs and contracts.
• Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to manage multiple stakeholder engagements.
• Detail-oriented and deeply organized.
