Bilingual Call Centre Agent (Afrikaans/English)

Headset on, systems open: this international outsourcing contact centre in Mossel Bay needs agents who stay patient on the hundredth call. You don't need to be the loudest person in the room, just the one others can count on.

The work is in Mossel Bay, Western Cape, so you'll need a reliable way to get there every day. Start date: as soon as possible for the right person.

What your day looks like

• Process address changes, refunds and cancellations on the billing system.
• Troubleshoot routers, fibre connections and app logins step by step.
• Attend team huddles and weekly coaching sessions on call recordings.
• Verify caller identity before sharing any account details, as POPIA requires.
• Follow up on open tickets and phone customers back when promised.
• Reply to emails and live chats within the service-level window.
• Answer inbound calls within target and greet callers using the approved script.

What you need

• Open to rotating shifts, including nights and weekends for offshore campaigns
• Able to pass a voice and accent assessment
• Matric with a pass in English
• No criminal record, as most clients run a background check
• Basic computer skills: Windows, email and working across a few screens
• You stay calm when a caller is angry

Helpful, not essential

• A Customer Service NQF Level 2 or 4 learnership certificate
• Technical know-how on Wi-Fi, fibre or smartphones
• Previous contact centre or retail customer service experience
