Minimum Requirements
- CA(SA) qualification is essential.
- Proven MDA experience is essential.
- Minimum 5–7 years' experience leading the full finance function in a Finance Manager or Financial Controller capacity.
- Property industry experience is highly advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, financial controls, governance, VAT and statutory compliance.
- Advanced Excel and financial systems experience.
- Lead and oversee the end-to-end finance function across multiple entities.
- Drive the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and adherence to reporting deadlines.
- Review journals, balance sheet reconciliations, intercompany transactions and consolidated financial reports.
- Oversee treasury, cash flow management, VAT compliance, PAYE and statutory submissions.
- Manage annual audits, annual financial statements and regulatory reporting.
- Prepare board reporting, shareholder reporting, budgets and cash flow forecasts.
- Develop, implement and continuously improve finance policies, procedures and internal controls.
- Lead, mentor and develop Finance Managers, Financial Accountants and the Creditors team.
- Identify operational risks, strengthen governance and improve finance processes across the business.
- Partner closely with senior leadership by providing strategic financial insight and supporting business growth initiatives.
