Minimum Job Requirements:
- Master's Degree in Education, Business Administration, or an equivalent NQF 9 business-related qualification.
- Minimum 10 to 12 years' experience within a corporate learning and development environment.
- Proven senior leadership and strategic management experience.
- Minimum 6 years' experience managing and leading teams.
- General Management qualification will be advantageous.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and execution of the organisation's learning and development strategy.
- Drive the evolution of learning frameworks, standards, philosophies, and skills development initiatives.
- Oversee the design and implementation of innovative learning solutions, including digital and blended learning programmes.
- Develop leadership and management development strategies to strengthen the organisational leadership pipeline.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and organisational growth.
- Ensure alignment between learning initiatives and business objectives.
- Provide strategic guidance on governance, compliance, risk management, and business continuity within the Academy.
- Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships across the organisation and external learning networks.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team.
- Oversee divisional budgeting, reporting, and resource management.
