SUMMARY

Our client is seeking an experienced Branch / External Sales Representative to join their team based in Port Elizabeth.

This role offers an exciting opportunity for a results-driven sales professional who is passionate about building customer relationships, identifying business opportunities, and driving revenue growth.

The successful candidate will be responsible for a combination of branch administration and external sales activities, with approximately 30% branch administration and 70% external sales focus. The ideal candidate will have a strong sales background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to develop long-term relationships with key customers .

POSITION INFO

Requirements: Minimum 5 years' proven experience as a Sales Representative or similar sales role. Strong track record of achieving sales targets and business growth. Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. Experience with CRM and customer relationship management practices. Strong relationship-building skills with customers and stakeholders at all levels. Highly motivated, target-driven, and results-oriented. Excellent sales, negotiation, and communication skills. Strong organisational and time management abilities. Ability to prepare and deliver presentations tailored to customer needs. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to handle customer concerns effectively. Technical sales experience would be advantageous. Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field would be advantageous. Responsibilities: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers to encourage customer retention and loyalty. Understand customer requirements and provide solutions that meet their business needs. Identify opportunities to grow existing customer accounts. Present, promote, and sell company products and services to existing and prospective customers. Conduct customer needs analysis and provide appropriate product solutions. Generate new business opportunities through customer leads, networking, and cold calling. Manage customer queries and complaints to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. Achieve agreed sales targets and performance objectives within set timelines. Coordinate sales activities with internal teams and other departments. Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and new business opportunities. Provide regular sales reports, customer insights, and market feedback to management. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, products, and promotional opportunities. Assist with branch administration duties as required. Key Skills: External sales and business development.
