Join a growing tech firm in Roodepoort. We are looking for a Java Developer who is passionate about building scalable web applications and solving complex problems.
Responsibilities
System Maintenance & Support
- Provide technical support and guidance to end users and team members as needed.
- Monitor application performance and implement optimisations to improve speed and resource usage.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software issues to ensure maximum uptime and system reliability.
Software Development & Architecture
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable software applications using modern frameworks and programming languages.
- Participate in architectural decisions and contribute to the technical direction of projects.
Collaboration & Agile Delivery
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to maintain high code quality across the team.
- Work closely with product managers, designers, and QA teams in an Agile environment to deliver features on time.
- Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to continuously improve team processes.
Requirements
- Proven software development experience in the relevant language
- Understanding of relational databases, version control tools and of developing web services
- Knowledge of PHP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS
- Experience with frameworks like Laravel, React, or Vue
- Passion for best design and coding practices
Qualifications
