Key Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric) essential.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution centre or picking/packing environment.
- Experience using handheld scanning devices (RF scanners) is essential.
- Excellent accuracy and attention to detail when picking and packing orders.
- Physically fit and able to stand, walk and lift throughout the working day.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.
- Reliable, punctual and committed to maintaining high productivity standards.
- Understanding of warehouse health and safety practices.
- Accurately pick customer orders using handheld scanning devices.
- Pack orders according to company quality standards.
- Verify product quantities, sizes and descriptions before dispatch.
- Assist with stock control, replenishment and cycle counts when required.
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
- Meet daily productivity and accuracy targets.
- Report damaged stock, shortages or discrepancies immediately.
- Follow all warehouse procedures and safety requirements.
