Requirements We are currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Scientist to join a major project within the medical/healthcare sector. The successful candidate will play a critical role in delivering advanced data science solutions, analytics, and machine learning capabilities within a cloud-based environment. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced Data Scientist with strong Azure cloud expertise, particularly within Azure Databricks, who can contribute immediately to a fast-paced and technically driven project environment. Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy advanced data science and machine learning solutions
- Work with large, complex healthcare and medical datasets
- Build and optimize data pipelines and analytical models within Azure Databricks
- Perform data cleansing, transformation, feature engineering, and predictive analytics
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, technical teams, and project managers to define data-driven solutions
- Develop dashboards, reporting models, and actionable insights for business decision-making
- Ensure data governance, quality, and compliance within the medical sector environment
- Contribute to AI/ML model deployment and monitoring processes
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across analytics and cloud platforms
- Proven experience as a Senior Data Scientist
- Strong hands-on expertise with Azure Databricks (essential)
- Advanced experience with:
- Python
- SQL
- Machine Learning frameworks
- Data modelling and analytics
- Experience working within Azure cloud environments
- Strong understanding of data engineering and big data concepts
- Ability to work independently within a hybrid project environment
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Experience within the healthcare or medical sector will be advantageous
