An exceptional new ultra-luxury safari lodge in the Greater Kruger region is looking for a polished and experienced Senior Lodge Anchor to join its opening team. This is an intimate and highly personalised property where service will be warm, intuitive and understated. We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys connecting with guests, notices the smallest details and understands how to deliver exceptional hospitality without it ever feeling scripted or overly formal. The Senior Lodge Anchor will play an important role in overseeing the guest journey and supporting the lodge management team with the smooth day-to-day running of the property. Key responsibilities Welcome and host guests throughout their stay, ensuring a warm and highly personalised experience. Anticipate individual guest preferences and ensure special requests are communicated and followed through. Coordinate closely with housekeeping, kitchen, guiding and other departments to ensure seamless guest service. Assist with daily lodge operations and guest experience planning. Support and mentor junior lodge anchors and front-of-house team members. Oversee meal services and other guest-facing experiences when required. Handle guest feedback professionally and proactively. Assist with administrative and operational duties as required. Maintain excellent presentation and service standards throughout guest areas. Support lodge management in creating a positive and professional team culture. Requirements Previous experience within a 5-star safari lodge or comparable luxury boutique hospitality environment. Experience in a senior lodge anchor, guest relations, assistant lodge manager or similar role advantageous. Naturally warm and confident guest manner. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Highly attentive, intuitive and able to read different guest personalities. Strong organisational ability and attention to detail. Comfortable working across departments in a hands-on lodge environment. Professional appearance and excellent personal presentation. Ability to remain calm and gracious under pressure.
