Duties & Responsibilities Conduct competency assessments, on-site orientation and continuous evaluations of nursing staff
Assess the learning needs of individuals and develop appropriate educational materials and strategies to meet those needs.
Design and implement educational programs and workshops for all ranks of nursing staff
Coordinate and deliver hands-on training sessions and case studies to enhance clinical skills and knowledge
Provide mentorship and guidance to healthcare staff, offering feedback and support for their professional development
Stay updated with current best practices, evidence-based guidelines, and advancements in healthcare to ensure the educational programs reflect the latest industry standards
Maintain accurate records of training activities, attendance, and participant evaluations
Desired Experience & Qualification
Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Nursing
Registration with SANC as a professional nurse
Postgraduate Diploma qualification will be advantageous.
Proven experience as a Clinical Facilitator, Clinical Educator, or similar role
Strong clinical background and expertise in the healthcare field
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate learners
Knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design and educational methodologies
Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate various learning styles and levels of experience
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Proficiency in using specialized equipment and computer-based learning tools
