Driver Code 10 - Contractor Position
Location: JHB - Braamfischer - Florida - Southern Suburbs
Reporting to: Operation
Type: Contractor

Duties and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:- Safely operate company vehicles requiring a Code 10 driving licence.
- Deliver and collect goods according to scheduled routes and instructions.
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections before and after each trip.
- Ensure all goods are loaded, secured and transported safely.
- Verify delivery documentation, invoices, waybills and proof of delivery.
- Obtain signed proof of delivery from customers where required.
- Report vehicle defects, accidents, delays or incidents immediately.
- Maintain accurate trip sheets, vehicle records and delivery documentation.
- Assist with loading and offloading goods when required.
- Ensure the vehicle is kept clean and in good condition.
- Follow planned routes and comply with traffic and road safety regulations.
- Maintain professional communication with customers and represent the company positively.
- Report any discrepancies, damaged goods or delivery issues to the supervisor.
- Perform other reasonable duties related to the transport and logistics function.
- Grade 12 / Matric preferred.
- Valid Code 10 driver's licence.
- Valid Professional Driving Permit (PrDP) where required for the vehicle and duties.
- Previous driving or delivery experience preferred.
- Good knowledge of South African roads and routes.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to complete delivery documentation accurately.
- 3 - 4 Years experience
- Rate:39.57 Per Hour
