Duties & Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations: accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
• Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections.
• Implement and maintain internal financial controls.
• Coordinate with external auditors and tax preparers.
• Support compliance with U.S. regulatory and reporting standards (SEC, FINRA, etc., as applicable).
• Provide financial analysis and business insights to senior management.
• Manage and review vendor contracts and financial implications
• Recommend and implement system and process improvements for scalability.

Desired Experience & Qualification

Candidate Profile

• Bachelors degree in accounting, Finance, or related field; professional qualification (CA(SA), CIMA, CPA, or equivalent) preferred.
• Minimum 58 years of progressive accounting or finance experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership or controller role.
• Prior experience in the financial services industry is highly advantageous.
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and international financial reporting standards (IFRS).
• Excellent command of English, with strong communication and reporting skills.
• Must be capable of working independently in a remote, cross-border environment.

Employment Framework

• The candidate will be employed by Tintwa Group (Pty) Ltd under a South African employment contract, earning a remuneration package denominated in ZAR.
• Tintwa Group will handle all employment, payroll, and statutory obligations locally.
• The successful candidate will report directly to the clients CFO in the USA.
• Working hours will need to align partially with CST (Central Standard Time) to accommodate collaboration with the U.S. finance team.

Package & Remuneration

The total Cost to Company (CTC) package will range between R800,000 and R1,400,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
