Security Control Room Operator

We pride ourselves on attracting passionate and exceptional individuals who will continue to help us enhance patient experience and providing access to affordable and quality healthcare to underserviced communities.JOB SUMMARY The Security Control Room Operator is responsible for receiving, coordinating, monitoring and overseeing all security control room operations across Clinix Health Group facilities. The role ensures the effective monitoring of CCTV systems, incident management, security escalations and coordination with outsourced security service providers to safeguard Clinix assets, employees, patients and visitors. The incumbent will support the implementation of security protocols and provide accurate reporting and communication in response to security incidents and emergencies.

REQUIREMENTS

Minimum Qualifications: Grade 12 (Matric). CCTV Certification. Security Certification. Advantageous: PSIRA Grade A Qualification. Minimum Experience: Minimum 2 years' experience in a security control room or similar security and surveillance environment. Key Competencies: CCTV Monitoring and Surveillance Security Incident Management Emergency Response Coordination Security Reporting and Documentation Attention to Detail Problem Solving and Decision Making Communication and Stakeholder Management

DELIVERABLES

Monitor CCTV surveillance systems across Clinix Health Group facilities and identify unusual or suspicious activity. Analyse alerts, incidents and exception reports and escalate matters requiring further investigation. Coordinate responses with contracted security companies, hospital management and emergency response services. Maintain accurate records of incidents, response times and security breaches. Ensure CCTV footage is recorded, archived and managed in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Ensure access to control room systems and CCTV footage is restricted to authorised personnel only. Report equipment malfunctions and coordinate maintenance requirements. Support investigations through the review and provision of authorised CCTV footage. Build and maintain productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Provide regular security reports and updates to management. Ensure compliance with security policies, procedures and applicable legislation. Identify opportunities to improve security monitoring processes and operational effectiveness.
