We are seeking an Senior Bookkeeper to ensure accurate financial record-keeping compliance with statutory regulations, and the provision of timely financial insights that support strategic decision-making across the organization.Duties:Invoice & Payment Processing: Capture supplier invoices, match them with purchase orders and delivery notes, and prepare payment batches to ensure timely payments.Reconciliations & Reporting: Reconcile supplier statements, bank transactions, petty cash, and debit card expenses, while assisting with monthend procedures and reporting.Supplier Liaison: Communicate with suppliers to resolve queries, discrepancies, and maintain strong working relationships.Financial Records & Compliance: Maintain accurate documentation, filing systems, and support internal/external audits.Analysis & Systems: Perform creditor age analysis, cash book reconciliations, and reporting using Pastel for financial oversight.Requirements:Pastel accounting experience Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience Packhouse experience will be an advantage Studying for a finance or Accountant degree or diploma will be advantageous.
