Hire Resolve is currently working with a leading Built Environment contractor in Johannesburg who is seeking a Civil Engineer to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a well-established company that focuses on construction.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget
- Coordinate and collaborate with various teams and stakeholders, including subcontractors, suppliers, and clients
- Conduct site inspections and quality control checks to ensure compliance with project specifications and regulations
- Monitor project progress and address any issues or delays that may arise
- Prepare and review project documentation, including cost estimates, contracts, and progress reports
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
- Previous experience (5-10 years) working in the construction industry, preferably with a focus on built environment projects
- the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in relevant software applications
- Registered Professional Engineer or the ability to become registered
