Apartment Manager - Plettenberg Bay

Luxurious Self-Catering Apartments based at a hotel in Plettenberg Bay is looking for an Apartment Manager. Duties: Responsible for Apartment Management & Guest Services Maintain a high level of communication with the property owners, keeping them updated on the condition of their rental and any necessary repairs or improvements. Handle all aspects of guest relations, from pre-arrival to post-departure, ensuring a positive experience for all. Check inventory Checking guests in and out Required to do sales for the apartments Oversee the maintenance and housekeeping staff, scheduling and managing work assignments to ensure that all units are clean and in good repair. Respond to guest inquiries and complaints in a prompt and professional manner. Ensure that the damage fee is taken upon arrival and damage assessment is done before refunding the guests. Develop and implement marketing strategies to maximize occupancy and revenue. Prepare and distribute accurate monthly financial reports to the property owners. Manage the reservation system, ensuring that all bookings are processed accurately and in a timely manner. Inspect units regularly to ensure they meet standards of cleanliness and safety. Inspect units regularly to ensure that all small and big assets are not damaged or missing. Supervise the check-in and check-out process. Requirements: Grade 12 Degree or Diploma in business management, hospitality or any other related fields. At least 3+ years experience in short term rental management, hotel operations, or a related role Minimum 2 Years Guest services background Own transport will be favourable Proven track record of increasing occupancy and guest satisfaction Excellent communication, customer service, and time-management skills Ability to work independently and with a team to meet deadlines. Proficient in Microsoft Office and reservation software programs
