ber die Rolle FDM is a global business and technology consultancy seeking a Front-end Developer for our client within the banking sector, this will be a hybrid role based in Johannesburg . As a Front-end Developer, you will join a team that focuses on delivery of bespoke front-end solutions within our client and you will transform business-managed systems into enterprise-grade solutions. You will be responsible for building solutions that meet the client's business needs and defined requirements including designing, coding, testing, debugging, and maintaining applications within a continuous delivery pipeline. You will also support existing systems and ensure alignment with software quality. The ideal candidate will have hands-on JavaScript experience in a live operational environment and would be able to work with and maintain existing databases. You will be proficient in MySQL, able to navigate the application's underlying data model, as well as working knowledge of AWS environments. We are looking for excellent communication skills and individuals who thrive in fast-paced, technically complex environments. Das bringst du mit Requirements:
- JavaScript Proficiency in a live operational environment across JavaScript frameworks (Node, React, Angular)
- Practical experience with SQL, My SQL in particular
- Ability to query tables, filter data, retrieve information to support problem resolution
- Experience in AWS environments
- Strong teamwork and self-starter attitude
- Analytical thinking and creative problem solving
- Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively in technically complex and high-demand environments
- Ability to operate under high pressure
- 2 year of experience in a similar role preferred
- Career coaching and access to upskilling throughout your entire FDM career
- Initial upskilling pre-assignment that has been accredited by TechSkills
- Assignments with global companies and opportunities to work abroad
- Opportunity to re-skill and up-skill into new areas, develop non-linear career paths and build a skill set within your field
