Job Description:
- Prepare monthly management accounts and provide insightful financial analysis
- Process financial transactions from source documents through to management accounts
- Perform bank, creditor and debtor reconciliations and process journals
- Manage bookkeeping and assist with the preparation of annual financial statements
- Ensure compliance with VAT, Income Tax, PAYE and CIPC requirements
- Administer trusts, investment vehicles, property-owning and service entities
- Prepare financial management packs, meeting documentation and statutory records
- Manage online banking activities and assist with funding and financing documentation
- Liaise with tenants regarding rental accounts, operating costs and related queries
- Support ad hoc finance and administrative projects as required
- Strong accounting and financial reporting experience
- Excellent analytical, numerical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong administrative, organisational and process management skills
- High attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy
- Ability to work independently and within a small team environment
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Working knowledge of VAT, Income Tax and PAYE legislation
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Experience on Sage Evolution, Xero, MDA and Google Suite advantageous
- Proactive, solutions-driven and able to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Commerce, Finance or Accounting
- SAIPA or SAICA articles advantageous
