Purpose of the Job To to install, maintain, repair, troubleshoot, and optimise Chemcial Plant machinery and Mechanical / Electrical equipment to ensure safe, reliable and efficient plant operations. Required outputs: Functional Perform Schedule/Preventative maintenance tasks to minimize plant down-time Do improvements, new installations and modifications to plant & equipment Respond to equipment breakdowns Ensure safe operation of plant & equipment Perform general housekeeping tasks Must be prepared to work overtime and standby as and when required Must be in posession of valid driving licence Must be able to work at heights or in confined spaces Must be able to read and interpret drawings Proven planning & fault-finding ability Must be able to obtain a certificate of fitness Qualifications and Experience Grade 12 with Mathematics and Physical Science Millwright trade test certificate (red seal) 3 - 5 years' experience in Chemical Plant environment.
