Every room at this casino hotel in Durban Central should feel brand new, and you'll make that happen. It suits someone who likes knowing exactly what a good day's work looks like.
You'll be based at a casino hotel in Durban Central. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps. There's a probation period of three months before the contract is confirmed.
What you'll actually do
- Vacuum, mop and dust rooms from top to bottom.
- Clean bathrooms, showers and toilets with the correct colour-coded cloths.
- Hand in lost property with a written log entry.
- Do evening turndowns with chocolates and curtain closing.
- Restock minibars, amenities and tea trays and note what was used.
- Report broken fittings, leaks and damage to maintenance.
Must-haves
- You can finish around 14 rooms in a shift
- Honest and trustworthy around guest belongings
- Grade 10 or higher
- You work neatly and notice a hair on a pillow
- Weekend and public holiday work
Nice if you have
- A supervisor course or time spent running a floor
- Chemical handling training
