Our client in the Bulk Materials Handling Industry is seeking a Draughtsman to join them. The successful candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of working experience producing P&ID drawings using Solid Edge . Mechanical Engineering Diploma. Randburg, Gauteng.
Job Title : Draughtsman
Geographical area : Randburg, Gauteng
The successful incumbent will be responsible for
- Interpretation of drawing requirements without rework
- Maintenance of drawings and documents
- Ensuring that as-built drawings are generated as part of project closeout
- Adhering to drawing filling method/procedures
- Adhering to drawing numbering methods or procedures
- Meeting drawings required timeline
- Making sure drawings/layouts represent P&IDs and selected equipment.
- Managing drawings change requests to avoid scope creep
Minimum qualifications and experience
- Matric
- Mechanical Engineering Diploma
- Minimum 5 years' experience in similar industry preferred
- Minimum 5 years draughting experience, preferably in Solid Edge
