A dynamic tech firm in Soweto is looking for a passionate Full-Stack Developer who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy cutting-edge solutions that meet the needs of our diverse client base.
Responsibilities
- Optimize application performance and scalability to handle growing user traffic and complex data processing requirements.
- Proactively troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software systems to ensure maximum uptime, security, and performance.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code in accordance with established industry standards and internal best practices.
- Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, from initial concept and architecture design to testing and deployment.
- Collaborate with product managers and designers to translate user requirements into robust technical specifications and functional features.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree or National Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field.
- In-depth knowledge of relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and proficient in writing optimized SQL queries.
- Experience with version control systems, preferably Git, and a solid understanding of branching strategies and workflows.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex technical challenges and provide effective solutions.
- Minimum 3-5 years of proven experience in professional software development with a strong focus on modern programming languages.
Qualifications
