Financial Advisor (Tied Agent, Trainee)

Selling financial products in Rosslyn means knowing the rules as well as the pitch. You'll work with a small crew, so being easy to work with matters as much as skill.

The work is in Rosslyn, Gauteng, so you'll need a reliable way to get there every day. There's a probation period of three months before the contract is confirmed.

What you'll actually do

• Capture new policies on the admin system and check debit order details.
• Track daily sales, conversions and lapse rates on the team board.
• Call warm leads from the dialler and qualify them in the first minute.
• Visit clients at home or work for field advice appointments.
• Read the FAIS disclosures and record client consent on every call.
• Follow up on quotes sent and chase missing documents.
• Save policies when clients call to cancel.

Must-haves

• Honest selling, even when the easy sale is the wrong one
• Matric, including Maths or Maths Literacy
• FAIS fit and proper: clean credit and criminal record
• Credits toward a recognised FSCA qualification, or willing to start

Extra points for

• A qualification such as a Higher Certificate in Financial Planning
• An existing client book (for field roles)
