We are seeking a hardworking and detail-oriented Junior Production Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will support the production team in manufacturing trailers/tankers, ensuring smooth operations and maintaining high production standards.

Job Description:

• Reporting to the Production Manager.
• Assisting the Production Manager with administrative tasks.
• Ensuring that production is completed, and deadlines are met.
• Procuring and monitoring production equipment.
• Updating the Production Manager on the status of projects.
• Liaising and coordinating production with other departments.
• Preparing cost estimates for materials.
• Perform quality checks on materials and finished products.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Support the production team with inventory management and material handling.
• Follow safety procedures and adhere to company policies.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years experience in a manufacturing and technical environment.
• Proficient in MS Office, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to work independently under a Production Manager.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Available and willing to work extended hours to meet deadlines when necessary.
• Strong technical and problem-solving skills.
• Valid drivers license and own transport.
• Sober Habits
