- Manage the complete F&I process from vehicle sale through to final delivery.
- Arrange and negotiate vehicle finance with various financial institutions.
- Prepare and submit finance applications and supporting documentation.
- Liaise with banks, financial institutions and insurance providers.
- Present and explain finance and insurance products to customers in a professional and transparent manner.
- Offer and sell value-added products, including warranties, service and maintenance plans, insurance and other approved products.
- Ensure all F&I documentation is accurate, complete and compliant.
- Ensure all transactions comply with FAIS, NCA, FICA, POPIA and relevant dealership and financial-services regulations .
- Maintain accurate records and ensure all regulatory and compliance requirements are met.
- Manage customer queries and provide professional after-sales support where required.
- Work closely with the Sales Manager and sales team to maximise finance and insurance opportunities.
- Monitor and improve finance penetration, product penetration and overall F&I performance.
- Maintain strong working relationships with banks, finance houses, insurers and other business partners.
- Keep up to date with changes in legislation, financial products, lender requirements and industry practices.
- Ensure all required CPD and regulatory requirements remain current .
- Meet agreed monthly F&I targets and dealership performance objectives.
- Previous experience as an F&I Manager within a motor dealership is essential.
- Proven experience handling the full F&I process within a commercial/vehicle dealership environment .
- Strong knowledge of vehicle finance, insurance and value-added products.
- RE5 completed and valid , where applicable to the representative role. The FSCA identifies RE5 as the regulatory examination for representatives across FSP categories.
- NCA knowledge and compliance experience .
- Appropriate FAIS-recognised qualification .
- CPD points fully up to date and able to provide proof of compliance.
- Relevant F&I/dealership experience meeting the applicable FAIS fit-and-proper requirements .
- Knowledge of FAIS, NCA and FICA requirements .
- Valid driver's licence.
- Matric/Grade 12.
- Clear understanding of dealership F&I compliance procedures.
- Strong computer literacy and administrative skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong sales and customer-service ability.
- Professional presentation and the ability to build trust with customers.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet monthly targets.
