Senior Security Technician (JB5321) Randburg, Gauteng R20 000 - R30 000 per month Duration: Permanent A well-established technology solutions provider is seeking two experienced and motivated Senior Technicians to join their team. This role involves managing technical projects from stock control through to commissioning and handover, ensuring the seamless delivery and performance of advanced security and network systems. Technicians will be based at the office each morning before traveling to various client sites during the day. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in access control and network infrastructure, excellent communication skills, and the ambition to grow into more senior roles. Minimum Requirements: At least 5 years of experience in a senior technician role Demonstrated experience in managing technical projects Fluent in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills Valid driver’s license PSIRA Registered (Minimum Grade C) Willingness to travel to various job sites daily Duties and Responsibilities: Manage end-to-end project delivery including stock control, installation, system commissioning, and handover Install, configure, and maintain Impro access control and HikCentral Professional systems Administer and troubleshoot Mikrotik and Ubiquiti network infrastructure Provide technical support and training to both clients and internal staff Maintain detailed documentation for all project activities and system setups Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and quality standards Liaise directly with clients to understand requirements and offer tailored solutions Oversee project timelines and budgets, ensuring milestones are met Deliver clear and detailed reports on project progress and system performance Please do not apply using Scanned CVs, no supporting documentation is required at this point, this will be requested later.
