About the Role Our client is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated VoIP Systems Administrator to join their fully remote IT department.
This role is crucial for the management, maintenance, and optimization of our Voice over IP (VoIP) telephony infrastructure.
You will ensure the reliability, security, and performance of our communication systems, providing technical support to users across the organization.

Key Responsibilities Install, configure, and maintain VoIP platforms, PBX systems, and related hardware/software.
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to ensure high availability and quality of service.
Manage user accounts, extensions, call routing rules, and voicemail settings.
Implement security measures to protect the VoIP system from unauthorized access and threats.
Provide technical support to end-users for VoIP-related issues and inquiries.
Requirements Proven experience as a VoIP Systems Administrator or in a similar role managing telephony systems.
In-depth knowledge of VoIP protocols (SIP, H.323) and related technologies.
Experience with major VoIP platforms (e.g., Asterisk, Cisco CallManager, Microsoft Teams Voice).
Strong troubleshooting skills for diagnosing and resolving voice communication problems.
Familiarity with network infrastructure and its impact on VoIP performance.
