For a courier depot in Cape Town CBD, fast and careful deliveries keep customers coming back. It suits someone who likes knowing exactly what a good day's work looks like.
You'll be based at a courier depot in Cape Town CBD. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps.
What you'll actually do
- Bank cheques, post documents and run office errands
- Collect spares and parts from suppliers and bring them to the workshop
- Keep your vehicle or bike clean and report faults
- Scan parcels on delivery and take a photo or signature
- Deliver chronic medication to patients' homes and confirm ID
- Phone customers when the address is hard to find
- Fill up the vehicle and keep fuel slips for the logbook
You'll need
- Valid Code 8 (B) licence, or A licence for motorbike roles
- Clean driving record and no criminal record
- Able to work Saturdays
- Polite with customers at the door
- At least 1 year of driving experience
- Smartphone and comfortable using delivery apps
Nice if you have
- Knowledge of the city's industrial areas
- PrDP for staff shuttle posts
- Your own reliable bakkie or bike for owner-driver contracts
