Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead the engineering design and technical delivery of C&I Solar PV and BESS projects.
- Review and approve engineering designs, drawings and technical documentation.
- Provide technical support throughout project execution, commissioning and project handover.
- Collaborate with project managers, clients, consultants, contractors and suppliers.
- Ensure compliance with South African engineering standards and industry best practices.
- Mentor and support junior engineering staff.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Registered Professional Engineer ( Pr Eng ) with ECSA
- BEng/BSc in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
- Minimum 8 years' experience in Commercial & Industrial (C&I) Solar PV projects, with BESS experience advantageous.
- Proven experience in engineering design, project execution and commissioning of renewable energy projects.
- Strong stakeholder management and client relationship skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Sound knowledge of South African engineering standards and regulations.
- Must reside in, or within reasonable commuting distance of, Somerset West, Western Cape.
