SUMMARY:
CLIENT in the CONSULTING ENGINEERING INDUSTRY requires the services of an AREA SALES ENGINEER at their offices in the GAUTENG area as soon as possible.
POSITION INFO:
The successful Area Sales Engineer Process Filtration will focus on developing measurable results in Process Filtration market.
This will primarily within the Food & Beverage industry.
This role requires an entrepreneurial mind-set and a self-starter who has a relevant knowledge in the process industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maximizing sales turnover and profitability
- Identify and understand end user application needs
- Market mapping and identifying (key) customers
- Utilize current network to open new revenue streams with existing accounts
- Prepare (virtual) presentations and other educational documents
- Ensure that all commercial aspects of sales transactions are in the best interest of the company
- Organize, plan and manage the sales of Compressed air & Process products..
- Visit customers, potential customers and handle multiple projects
- Optimize sales and profit consistent with long term objectives & initiate activities to increase brand awareness of Company
- Provide accurate and timely reporting on activities, issues and forecasts
Minimum Qualification:
- Experience in a technical sales role or appreciation of technical products in a commercial environment selling into the process industries
- Experience of selling filtration medium or allied products into the Food & Beverage sector
- Have an understanding of the application of products and the feature/benefits of the service
- Good knowledge of MS Office (specifically Excel, Word, OneNote). Knowledge of CRM 365, ERP and BI systems are an asset.
- You have a bachelor''s or master''s degree in Food Science, Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written )
- You are a born team player.
