Civil engineering Business Development Manager Desired Experience & Qualification Professional Civil Engineer (B.Eng. or BSc) with strong experience in civil design registered with ECSA (PR Eng.) Min of 5 years’ experience in the design of roads and civils Business development in Engineering Undertaking technical and feasibility studies including site investigations Experience in bulk earthworks, road design, parking areas, sports fields, bulk infra-structure services, commercial development infra-structure, layerworks design, earth dams, pump lines, etc. Collaborator and must work well within a project team Consulting with clients and other consultants Managing budgets and project resources Mentoring junior engineers and technicians Make sure all documentation issued conform with the ISO 9001 – Quality standards Job specific requirements: Excellent verbal and written communication skills Open communication approach with colleagues and clients Good organizational skills Structured approach to problem solving and structured approach to day-to-day self-management Ability to perform the necessary engineering introspection and willingness to be challenged Showing initiative in challenging and unclear circumstances Computer literate, proficiency in typical office software applications Driver’s license and own transport
