A solid retail business in Queenstown, Eastern Cape is offering a stable role for a committed Marketing Manager. This is a hands-on position suited to a professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
You will have the tools, systems, and backing needed to do the job properly. You will gain exposure to a broad range of tasks that build valuable experience. Suitably qualified candidates are invited to submit their applications.
A strong customer-service focus and energy on the shop floor are essential.
Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyse, and report on marketing campaign performance using tools like Google Analytics, providing actionable optimisation recommendations.
- Plan and execute events including product launches, trade shows, conferences, and experiential marketing activations.
- Manage brand identity and ensure consistency of messaging, visual presentation, and tone of voice across all communication materials.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats informing marketing strategy.
- Create high-quality content for various marketing channels including blog posts, social media updates, newsletters, press releases, and video scripts.
- Build and maintain relationships with media, influencers, and industry partners to increase brand exposure and credibility.
Requirements
- Strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines simultaneously under pressure.
- Analytical mindset with experience in interpreting marketing data, identifying trends, and making data-driven recommendations.
- Creativity and a passion for storytelling with ability to generate fresh ideas and innovative approaches to marketing challenges.
- For management roles, experience leading a team and managing external agencies, freelancers, and marketing budgets.
- Proficiency in marketing and analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, Mailchimp, and Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
