Intermediate Full-Stack Software Developer

This is a strong opportunity for an intermediate developer who wants more than a narrowly defined coding role. Youll work in a small engineering team, build features end-to-end, work with substantial operational datasets and have genuine ownership over what gets shipped.
Youll also have exposure to AI/LLM-enabled product development and occasionally work directly with customers to understand operational problems and translate them into technical solutions.
What youll work on
- Full-stack product development across React and TypeScript
- Backend services using Node.js / NestJS
- PostgreSQL and time-series / high-volume data
- Deploying and maintaining services in AWS
- Building data, analytics and AI-enabled product features
- Improving code quality and contributing to technical decisions
- Translating customer requirements into practical technical solutions
- Supporting less experienced developers as you grow
Requirements
- 3+ years commercial software development experience
- A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT or a related discipline
- Strong JavaScript / TypeScript
- Commercial experience with React
- Backend development experience in Node.js , ideally NestJS
- Strong SQL and relational database fundamentals , including data modelling and query performance
- Exposure to AWS or another major cloud platform
- Exposure to IoT / IIoT, connected devices, telemetry or real-time data would be highly advantageous
- Interest or experience in AI / LLM-enabled development
- A proactive problem-solver who can take ownership and work through ambiguity without needing constant direction
- Strong communication skills and comfortable engaging directly with customers when required.
