About the Role

Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement user-facing features using modern front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
Build and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable back-end code.
Design and develop robust RESTful APIs.
Integrate front-end components with server-side logic.
Manage database operations and ensure data integrity.
Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and application stability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Troubleshoot and debug application issues, providing timely resolutions.
Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge.
Stay updated with emerging technologies and best practices in web development.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
3+ years of professional experience in full-stack web development.
Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and popular frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js).
Solid experience with back-end languages and frameworks (e.g., Node.js, Python/Django, Ruby/Rails, Java/Spring).
Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).
Understanding of version control systems, particularly Git.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
Good understanding of software development principles and agile methodologies.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, with regular on-site presence in **Port Elizabeth**.
