Duties:

 

• Architect and develop scalable C#/.NET applications using SOLID principles and Clean Architecture.
• Lead technical design discussions and drive implementation decisions.
• Design, build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices using ASP.NET Core.
• Develop efficient, secure and scalable data solutions using Entity Framework Core and SQL Server.
• Optimise application performance, scalability and security.
• Mentor junior developers through code reviews, technical guidance and best practices.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps initiatives to improve software delivery.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues and drive long-term technical improvements.
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, product teams and fellow engineers to deliver high-quality software.

 
Job Experience & Skills Required:
 
 
Qualifications:

 

• Matric (Grade 12)
• Bachelor's Degree or National Diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.

 
Experience:
 

• 5–10+ years of commercial experience developing applications using C# and .NET.
• Strong experience with ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework Core, LINQ and SQL Server.
• Proven experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, SOLID principles and design patterns.
• Experience working with microservices and distributed systems.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Experience with Angular, React or Blazor will be advantageous.
• Strong understanding of secure coding practices and application performance optimisation.
• Experience troubleshooting and supporting production systems.
