DUTY MANAGER | LUXURY BOUTIQUE HOTEL | CAPE TOWN Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced and guest-focused Duty Manager to join a luxury boutique hotel in the heart of Cape Town. This is an exciting opportunity for a hospitality professional who thrives in a refined, high-touch guest environment and has a strong background in boutique hotel operations. Salary: R18,000 R22,000 (DOE) Accommodation: Live-out position Location: Cape Town, Western Cape MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Minimum 5 years experience in boutique hotel operations Strong background in front office and guest relations Proven ability to manage daily hotel operations effectively Excellent problem-solving and guest resolution skills Strong leadership and team coordination abilities Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure Excellent communication and interpersonal skills KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Oversee daily hotel operations and ensure seamless guest experience Manage guest relations, handling requests, complaints, and special needs Supervise and support front office and operational teams during shifts Ensure high standards of service delivery across all departments Coordinate with housekeeping, reservations, and food and beverage teams Handle daily reporting, shift handovers, and operational checks Maintain a visible presence to ensure guest satisfaction at all times WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR A confident, hands-on hospitality professional with a passion for boutique luxury service.
