About the Role Our client seeks a proficient Civil Design Engineer specializing in infrastructure to join their growing team in Vereeniging.
This role is central to developing the detailed designs for essential infrastructure projects such as road networks, stormwater systems, and utility corridors within the Gauteng region.
You will utilize your technical expertise to translate conceptual plans into constructible designs, ensuring efficiency, safety, and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities Develop detailed engineering designs for roads, intersections, drainage systems, and associated infrastructure.
Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and construction documentation using industry-standard software.
Conduct site analyses, feasibility studies, and option evaluations for infrastructure development.
Ensure designs meet all relevant national and local standards, codes, and regulations.
Collaborate effectively with project managers, surveyors, environmental consultants, and construction teams.
Perform calculations for earthworks, pavement design, and hydraulic systems.
Requirements Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
Professional registration with ECSA is highly advantageous.
3-5 years of experience in civil infrastructure design.
Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Auto CAD, Civil 3 D) and relevant design calculation tools.
Knowledge of municipal standards and infrastructure design best practices in Gauteng.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
