Sales Engineer

What you'll be doing
- Meeting annual sales targets and growing revenue year on year
- Building and managing a strong pipeline of new business, keeping our systems up to date
- Visiting clients and mine sites to understand their needs and build relationships
- Putting together technical proposals and costings for large equipment deals
- Negotiating contracts, including terms, risk, and guarantees on major projects
- Keeping track of competitors and market trends, and feeding customer insights back to our product team
- Representing the company at industry events
- An engineering degree (mineral processing or metallurgy background preferred)
- 5–8 years of sales experience in mining or process equipment, or a related engineering/consulting environment
- A proven track record selling large equipment (capital equipment) into mining or minerals processing companies
- Hands-on knowledge of mineral separation equipment is a strong advantage (things like jigs, dense media separators, or sensor sorting machines)
- Experience negotiating large equipment contracts and tenders, including pricing, risk, and guarantees
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, and confidence presenting to clients
- A solid grasp of budgeting and business planning
- Willingness to travel and spend time on-site, sometimes for extended periods
- Own vehicle and valid driver's licence
