Information Systems Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate current business processes across property management, finance, billing, and leasing functions to identify inefficiencies and automation opportunities.
• Gather and document business requirements, translating them into functional specifications.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure system capabilities align with operational needs.
• Lead and support the implementation of property management and financial systems, including configuration, testing, and deployment of enhancements and new modules.
• Ensure optimal utilization of existing systems such as procurement, accounting, and reporting tools.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline workflows and reduce manual processes.
• Maintain data integrity across all systems, including tenant, lease, financial, and asset data.
• Develop dashboards and reports for management, supporting key metrics such as arrears, NOI, cash flow, and budgets.
• Support month-end and year-end reporting processes with accurate system data.
• Assist with system integrations for consolidated reporting across the property fund.
• Act as the primary liaison between finance, property management, IT, and external vendors.
• Provide system training and support to internal users, translating technical concepts into accessible language.
• Lead the internal IT team to ensure responsive support and effective issue resolution.
• Manage relationships with system vendors and service providers.
• Ensure systems comply with company policies, procedures, and audit requirements.
• Maintain thorough documentation of system processes, changes, and configurations.
• Participate in or lead system upgrades, migrations, and integration projects.
• Support broader digital transformation initiatives within the organization.

Requirements:

• 3 to 8 years of experience in systems analysis, implementation, or support.
• Proficiency in R and C programming languages.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to translate technical concepts into business language.
• Experience with property management or financial systems is advantageous.
