About our client
Our client is a mid-to-large, fully integrated agency based in Bryanston, with over 20 years in the industry and a strong reputation both locally and internationally. They're now looking for a Group Account Director to take the reins on one of their most prestigious blue-chip accounts. This could be a brilliant next step for a top-calibre Account Director ready to make the leap to GAD level.
What the job involves
- Taking full strategic and operational ownership of a blue-chip client relationship
- Leading and managing a team, ensuring strong delivery and development
- Acting as the senior client contact, including engagement at executive level
- Driving account growth and identifying new business opportunities within the account
- Overseeing flawless execution and attention to detail across all deliverables
- Managing account profitability, forecasting and reporting
- Partnering closely with strategy and creative teams to deliver best-in-class work
- Anticipating client needs and proactively solving problems before they arise
What you need to be considered
- 10 years+ TTL agency experience, with a proven track record managing blue-chip accounts
- Experience operating at very Senior Account Director level, ready to step up to GAD
- Demonstrated ability to manage and develop a team
- Confidence engaging and presenting at executive level
- Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills
- Strong commercial acumen and ambition to grow the account further
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Bonus points if you
- Have experience managing a similarly sized blue-chip or multinational account
